Free TV not worth it
There is a TV commercial asking us to contact our Congress folks to protect/save our “free TV!” Frankly, my dear, it ain’t worth saving! What with all the paid ads, 1960s reruns, garbage-reality shows and over-loud commercials, it’s a wonder anyone wants to save this mode of communication. Pay TV is just more of the same.
Last year, Fox denied us the whole middle of the only season the Seahawks won a Super Bowl! I guess that is to encourage us to get reliable cable?
Lawrence Welk died in 1992! Can’t we have more current programs? Who wants to live in the past? We are just getting more of dumbing down. Could it be that the big broadcast stations want the “free TV” to go away? Then, they get more revenue from their own cable stations and cable distributors.
