Obituary: Christensen, Ruth Frances
Ruth was born in Minot, North Dakota to Palmer and Frances Rogness of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Ruth married the love of her life, Emanual (Molly) Christensen on December 24, 1941.
They lived in Worley, Idaho until 1962 when they moved to Coeur d’Alene and began developing their property at Windy Bay on Lake Coeur d’Alene.
Ruth shared her wonderful, loving hospitality with family and friends.
Coffee was always on and included something wonderful that she had baked or cooked.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years; her daughter Connie Darcy in September, 2011; her brother Duane Rogness; and her sister Shirley Wheeler.
She is survived by her daughter Vickie (Ted) Currie of Dallas, Texas; son-in-law Don Darcy of Spokane Valley, Washington; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Vallejo Rogness of Coeur d’Alene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held in late summer 2015 in Spokane.
