Obituary: Klaue, Eleanor Frances

KLAUE, Eleanor Frances (Age 97) Lifetime resident of Spokane passed away on November 14, 2014.

Preceded in death by her husband J. Byron Klaue.

Eleanor and Byron were married on May 16, 1940.

The couple started the Electro-Mart business in December 1945 and the business grew to three stores in Spokane and one in Portland, Oregon managed by their son Randall.

Upon retirement, their two sons Gary and Jim managed the Spokane stores.

Eleanor and her husband were deeply involved in the Rock of Ages Christian Fellowship where Byron was called as Pastor.

They immensely enjoyed working with the loving congregations.

Eleanor enjoyed golf, swimming, china and oil painting and spent 21 winters in Arizona.

Eleanor is survived by three sons, Randall (Sara) of Portland, Jim (Pam) and Gary of Spokane; three grandchildren, Wendy, Scott and Michelle; and two sisters, Loleta Tucker and Marian Feaver and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to be held at Rock of Ages, 2131 W. Woodside Ave., Spokane 99208 on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1pm.
