Dr. Edward Wesley Anderson, M.D.
born November 21, 1929 to Swedish immigrant parents Gunnar and Tina Anderson, died November 22, 2014.
A native of Spokane, WA., his education began at Logan Elementary, cont-inuing on to North Central High School and graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Gonzaga University.
He worked at C.F.
Braun for a few years before applying to the University of Southern California Medical School.
After which, he began private practice in Orange County, CA.
for 25 years before returning to Spokane to raise his son.
“Uncle Ed” was loved by many.
A charter member of the Indian River Golf Association, he loved life and all that it had to offer, especially celebrating the rituals of Gonzaga basketball and Cougar football.
Preceded in death by his sister, Lily Hatcher; he is survived by his son, Eric; extended family Aaron Rogers and Amy Mostert and their children.
There will be a service at Heritage Funeral Home Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11 am.
A Memorial Service, befitting a great man, will be planned for the coming Spring.
