Inland NW ski areas opening this weekend

Four ski resorts in the Inland Northwest will be open this weekend. Only Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park has not announced an opening day. 49° North Mountain Resort near Chewelah will open to skiers and snowboarders Friday, as will Lookout Pass on the Idaho-Montana border. Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg will open Saturday. Schweitzer Mountain Resort near Sandpoint opened Saturday and will resume operations Friday.
