With the victory, the Cougars completed their five-game exhibition tour in the Dominican Republic with a 3-1-1 mark, including 3-0 against MLB academy squads. Washington State trailed 1-0 after four innings before plating three runs with two outs in the fifth. Four Cougar pitchers combined on a two-hitter.
