Obituary: Harbert, Carolyn J. (Berk)
Age 80
(Berk) (Age 80) Peacefully joined our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 30, 2014.
She was born on February 9, 1934 in Spokane, WA to Roy and Edith Berk of Glenrose.
Carolyn graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1951.
She completed her nursing degree at Deaconess Hospital in 1954-55, where she then served in the US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant Nurse.
Carolyn worked at the VA, Deaconess, and finished her career at St. Luke’s Hospital.
She was a loving mom with a great sense of humor.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, history, and loved a great murder mystery.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Michael, Cheryl, and Karen; sisters, Elaine, and identical twin, Marilyn; her grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be missed but never forgotten.

Funeral service will begin at 10:00am, Monday, October 6, 2014 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME 4305 N. DIVISION IN SPOKANE, followed by interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
