Obituary: Prickett, Jeanette L.
She was born in Larimore North Dakota to Clarence and Lila Storkson on December 13th, 1941.
She was the second of five children.
Her siblings were Kenneth, Sharon, Vickie and Dennis.
She graduated from Rogers High School in 1959.
She was married to Joel Prickett, and was blessed with six daughters: Joleen Ellis Carl (Ray), Doreen Ellis Steiger (Cloyd), Glenna Ellis Nenendjian (Maurice) and Andrea Ellis Loepker, and a step-daughter, Jo Ellen Prickett.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Shawna and Maryann Ellis.
She was the loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
Her calling in life was to quietly give back to her community by tirelessly working for veterans, women and children shelters and the homeless.
There wasn’t a problem out there with which she was not willing to help.
She is survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2PM, at Zion Lutheran Church, 8304 E. Buckeye, Spokane Valley, with a reception to follow.
