Obituary: Wood, Larry
Larry served his country at times of peace and war for the United Sates Air Force from May 1957 to April 1984.
After retirement, Larry was active in the outdoors, including twenty years with the Spokane Canoe Club, serving as an officer in all positions and as an instructor.
He enjoyed alpine and cross country skiing for several years, and the annual huckleberry season.
At the age of 68, he broadened his interest to motorcycles, completing a 3,000 mile trip.
He was able to greatly appreciate riding with friends and family.
Larry was an active civic volunteer with the C.O.P.S for 14 years.
We invite our friends and family to join us in a “Celebration of Life” as we bid farewell to our beloved, Larry.
The Honor Guard/Flag presentation will begin at 6:00p.m.
on Friday, October 10th, at the “Commons” at Mukogawa Fort Wright located at 4000 W. Randolph Rd., with dinner, drinks and the sharing of memories.
Please bring your photos and stories and help us send him off on more great adventures.
