He was born in Spokane, WA on December 2, 1939.
He was raised in Spokane and attended St. Francis of Assisi grade school and Gonzaga Prep.
He retired from the Navy, where he served 20 years in the Submarine Service.
He is survived by his three children: Michael (Tara) Faulhaber and William Faulhber both of Seattle, Katy (Jack) Wood of Sitka, Alaska; grandchildren: Kayleigh Faulhaber, Raeanna Wood, Ryan Wood, and Ali Wood; his sisters, Teresa McLaughlin, Mary Faulhaber, Martha (Dan) Taylor; and his brothers, Henry (Hiroko) Faulhaber and Bill (Sandy) Faulhaber; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral service, Joe requested to be buried at sea.
