Obituary: Brookshire, Kim Jody

BROOKSHIRE, Kim Jody 58 Years of Life A resident of the Williams Valley area of Deer Park, Washington, passed away on October 1, 2014.

Kim is the dear husband of Debbie Brookshire, and the loving father of Jason Brookshire and Jessica Brookshire.

Kim is the son of Russell and Lou Brookshire, of Chattaroy, Washington, and his brothers and sisters are Dennis Brookshire, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Russell Brookshire of Chattaroy, Luann Jennings of Deer Park, and Sandie Lindgrin of Sedro Wooley, WA.

He enjoyed three grandchildren.

Born in 1956 in Spokane, Kim graduated from Riverside High School, with the Class of 1974; and then joined the United States Marines, and was a machine gunner.

He was employed at Kaiser Aluminum, Mead Works where he was a pot-line forman, and a member of United Steelworkers of America, Local 329.

His hobbies were fly tying, fishing, and playing his guitar.

Funeral Services honoring Kim will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2014, at the Open Door Congregational Church in Deer Park with Rev.

Dr. Daniel N. Berg Officiating, followed with interment in Woodland Cemetery.

Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Marine Honor Guard.
