The University High running back carried 17 times against Rogers on Friday, gaining 161 yards. He also scored six touchdowns rushing, on runs of 13, 9, 7, 1, 1 and 7 yards.

Kelsey Turnbow, Central Valley sophomore

Turnbow, a forward for the defending state Class 4A champion Lady Bears, had a goal and an assist in leading her team to a 2-1 win over Gonzaga Prep last week, then topped that performance by scoring a three-goal hat trick against district rival University in a 3-1 win.
