Obituary: Rickman, Maureen Claire

Age 70

RICKMAN, Maureen Claire (Age 70) Surrounded by her loving family, Maureen went home to be with her Heavenly Father on October 6, 2014 in Spokane, Washington.

Born on August 15, 1944 in Helena, Montana to Maurice and Mary Strickland.

Maureen grew up in Helena and attended Eastern Montana College.

May 15, 1965 Maureen married the love of her life, Richard William Rickman.

Shortly thereafter, they moved to Houston, Texas and then on to Spokane WA in 1970.

Maureen worked as a secretary for many years, which enabled her to use her passion and gift of talking on the telephone.

While in Spokane she enjoyed participating in social activities as a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

Maureen is survived by her brother, Robert Strickland (Ming); daughter, Kymberlee Black (Scott); son, Lance Rickman (Cami); and four grandchildren, Kansys, Kennedy, Garrett and Gabrielle.

Maureen will be remembered for her quick-witted sense of humor, incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail as well as her irresistible charm.

Her memory will live on in all who knew and loved her.

She will be missed greatly.

A private celebration of Maureen’s life will be held in her honor this Friday in Missoula, Montana.
