Big Sky football: Bobcats post 2nd highest total points

Dakota Prukop passed for 361 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 148 yards and two more scores to lead the Montana State Bobcats to a 77-37 win over the UC Davis Aggies on Saturday night in Davis, California.

The Bobcats broke the game open by outscoring the Aggies 21-0 in the second quarter to lead 35-10 at the half, en route to their second-highest output in history (86 against Eastern Oregon in 1985).

Prukop is the first MSU player since Travis Lulay (542) in 2004 with more than 500 yards of total offense.

Idaho State 66, Simon Fraser 14: Justin Arias threw for 404 yards and five TDs to lead the Bengals over the Clansmen (1-5) in Pocatello, Idaho.

ISU’s Xavier Finney rushed 19 times for 114 yards and two TDs, and backup Jakori Ford rushed three times for 144 yards and had scoring runs of 72 and 69 yards. KW Williams had eight catches for 129 yards and a TD.

Sacramento State 43, Northern Colorado 38: Garrett Safron threw three TD passes and the Hornets held on in the fourth quarter to beat the Bears in Greeley, Colorado.

North Dakota 24, Portland State 16: Alex Tillman set a school record with a 95-yard punt return for a score in the fourth quarter and lifted UND over the Vikings in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Cal Poly 30, Weber State 24: Brandon Howe scored the go-ahead TD on a 1-yard run early in the fourth quarter and the Mustangs defeated the Wildcats in Ogden, Utah.
