Obituary: Lyons, Linda Louise

LYONS, Linda Louise October 26, 1939 to October 1, 2014 We lost our sister today.

Born to Eva and Gilmore Lyons in Ellensburg, WA.

Linda grew up in Sunnyside and Ellensburg until she moved to Spokane.

She worked at various jobs, then found her way to Columbia Lighting in the print department for 27+ years and retired.

Later Linda became the groundskeeper for the Irv and Angela Zakheim family with their four children.

She said “Oh I think I will be there for a whole year.”

Well, 15+ years, she was still there!

She worked until September 18th.

She enjoyed fishing and hunting with her friends, above all else it was her garden.

Survived by sisters Patricia A.

Stone and Barbara Kroemer of Spokane, WA; many nieces and nephews; special friends Isabel Burns, Eleanor Mitchell, Donald Summers, the Zakheims and friends too numerous to count.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and other family member.

A private funeral will be held at a later date.
