Obituary: Rose, Judy Burdett
Her father’s career path moved the family several times throughout her childhood eventually land- ing in Spokane.
There she met her first husband with whom she bore two children.
She followed her second husband, the love of her life, to Arizona where she lived for more than twenty years.
He brought three additional children into her life.
In her thirties she began to realize her mortality as Alpha One Antitrypsin Deficiency set in.
By 1997, she had her diagnosis and became compelled to advocate for herself and others with her rare condition.
She began working for Alphanet as a Coordinator (more aptly described as a champion for Alphas), supporting them through the disease process with her training, knowledge, and compassion.
In 2005, her path brought her home to Spokane to be with her children and grandchildren.
As she grew weary, she retired from Alphanet and devoted her available energies to her two passions: her art and her grandchildren.
Her legacy lives on in the beautiful websites she designed that bring her clients’ visions alive.
Her clients continually hail her ability to create more beautiful and poignant designs than they’d envisioned.
And through her devotion and home-schooling, she was able to instill her passion, compassion, and vibrancy into her grandchildren.
Words alone cannot express what a kind, giving, loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend she was!
She was the most subtle of heroes, the slight knight, the valiant friend, and September 29, 2014 she became Jesus’ angel.
The Judy Rose Uplifting will take place all over the world on Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 pm PST, and then a celebration of Judy’s life will take place on her birthday, January 31, 2015.
