Obituary: Sperline, Clarence Arnold

Age 91

SPERLINE, Clarence Arnold (Age 91) On October 4th 2014 Bus Sperline resident of Spokane Valley passed away.

Bus was born in Wenatchee, WA on November 18th, 1922 to Pauline and Clarence R. Sperline.

He entered the Navy in 1943.

His first station was at Dickenson State College in North Dakota where he met his wife of 70 years, Louise.

He spent the next two years in the South Pacific during World War II.

On returning he completed his B.A.

in Education entering the teaching and coaching field for the next 33 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, spending time traveling in his motor home, and just being with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Louise; daughter Paula (Roger) Watkins; son Alan (Pam) Sperline; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; brothers: Lester and Ronald (Lola) and Keith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother John; son’s Craig and Mark; and grandson Luke.

Services will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 13009 E Broadway Ave., in the Spokane Valley on Saturday October 18th at 11:00.

Luncheon reception to follow.

Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Village in Spokane Valley or Advent Lutheran Church.
