Free Spooktacular Drive-in Movies Held in the same location at the Incredible Corn Maze. Saturdays in October on a 55-foot screen. Gate opens at 5 p.m.; games and prizes at 7 p.m. and movie about 8 p.m. First come, first served as parking is limited. Movie lineup: Saturday, “The Haunted Mansion,” Oct. 25, “The Goonies.” We are teaming up with local nonprofits to accept items for their drives: Saturday, food drive to benefit Post Falls Food Bank; and Oct. 25, a blanket, quilts, socks, mittens and scarves drive to benefit Post Falls Senior Center and Meals on Wheels. National Theatre Live’s “Frankenstein” Join Friends of the Bing for the return of National Theatre Live’s broadcast of “Frankenstein” to cinemas. Directed by Academy Award winner Danny Boyle, the production features Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternating roles as Victor Frankenstein and his creation. See Benedict Cumberbatch as the monster on Saturday at noon and Sunday at 5 p.m. See Johnny Lee Miller as the monster on Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. There is a 30-minute intermission between viewings. “Soul of a Banquet” The documentary recounts restaurateur and chef Cecilia Chiang’s privileged background in pre-Cultural Revolution China, and then shifts focus to follow in meticulous detail her preparation of a lavish celebratory feast. Lights! Camera! Action! An introduction to filmmaking with Adam Boyd of the EWU film department. Come to one class, or all three in the series. For ages 16 and older. Part one will cover pre-production, part two covers production, and part three covers post-production. Registration required for all classes.
