Smile services: Dental assistant Stephanie Hoffman takes an X-ray of Chris Bashore’s cracked tooth during his visit to the SmileMobile, a modern three-chair dental office on wheels parked outside the Spokane Regional Health District Building on Thursday. The program in partnership with DeltaDental of Washington typically offers dental services to only low-income children, but offered care to adults on Thursday and again today. Appointments were quickly filled when they were announced on Wednesday by the Spokane Regional Health District. The SmileMobile services range from examinations and preventive care to fillings and minor oral surgery. (Colin Mulvany)
