Communications

Washington State University Spokane has hired Kevin Dudley as public relations and communications coordinator and Heather Byrd as development coordinator. Dudley was previously the marketing and communications coordinator for four years at Greater Spokane Incorporated. Byrd has more than 13 years of experience in media relations, marketing, public relations and fundraising. Previously, she was the director of development at the Salvation Army of Spokane.

Engineering

Gregory Heinz and Michael Nuernberger have joined Hill International. Heinz is an operations and business development manager and will oversee the consolidation of the Spokane and Seattle Hill offices. He has more than 20 years of experience in public and private infrastructure. Nuernberger will serve as the project manager for the Washington State University Wine Science Center in Richland.

GeoEngineers has hired Justin Rice as a staff geologist Spokane office. Previously, Rice was a geologist for the USDA Forest Service in Coeur d’Alene.

Mark Aden, president of DCI Engineers, has been appointed to a three-year term on the city of Spokane Plan Commission.

Finance

Magnuson, McHugh & Company has hired Stephanie Brice as an administrative assistant. Brice was previously a loan registration coordinator for a wholesale mortgage lender in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Health care

Scott Adams has been named a recipient of the Joe Hopkins Memorial Award for outstanding leadership by the Washington State Hospital Association. Adams has been the chief executive officer of Pullman Regional Hospital for more than 20 years.

Kristen West has been named as one of Molina Healthcare’s Community Champions for her work in improving the quality of life in the local community. West is the vice president of Empire Health Foundation and, as part of her award, directed $1,000 to Volunteers of America.

Insurance

Associated Industries Management Services has promoted Deb Brady Nead to senior vice president of benefit services operations. Brady Nead joined Associated Industries in 2008 and has more than 20 years of experience in the health insurance industry.

Nonprofit

The Blood Center Foundation of the Inland Northwest announced that Jessica Allen has joined the board of directors for a three-year term.  Allen is an associate attorney with Workland Witherspoon. The Foundation has also received a $3,500 grant to establish a Patient Assistance Fund to HLA type uninsured family members to determine if they are a match for a relative in need of a stem cell transplant.

Retail

Etailz has hired Amanda Bellefeuille as a PHP developer, Maysie Popp as a SaaS sales representative and Kendra Reilly as a customer care coordinator.

Tourism

Visit Spokane has hired Scott Zellers as a director of national accounts. Previously, Zellers was a sales manager for seven years at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.
