Obituary: Spencer, Kinuyo “Rose”

SPENCER, Kinuyo “Rose” Kinuyo “Rose” Spencer passed away on October 16, 2014 at 83 years of age.

She had been in the care of the wonderful people at Hospice House North in Spokane, Washington since May, 2014.

Rose was proud to become a Naturalized American Citizen on June 14, 1958.

She lived throughout the United States before returning to Spokane in 1970.

She is survived by daughters, Etsuko Uehashi, Kokura, Japan and Nancy Zietlow (Chris Goldapp), Spokane and son, Glen Zietlow (Linda), Appleton, Wisconsin.

She also leaves behind several grand- children and great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to Mrs. Motoko Walker for being such a good friend to Kinuyo for many years and especially throughout Rose’s illness.

Rose made many friends at Hospice House North.

Their care and companionship was greatly appreciated.

Niche side services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 30, at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA.
