Obituary: Wilson, Roy Joseph

WILSON, Roy Joseph “Joe” Roy Joseph Wilson, age 59, was born in Spokane Washington on June 22, 1955 and passed away on October 14, 2014.

Joe lived for the love of his family and friends.

He loved to fish at Pend Oreille Lake and the ocean with his brothers and grandsons.

He worked in the optical business for many years, in addition to Lilac Lanes and URM for State Protection Services, where he had many close friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Willard Wilson, mother Edna Davey, sister Sharon Southwell, nephew Ronny Davey and grandpa Leo Davey.

He is survived by his daughters Amy Rutzer (Daryl), Stacia Stuhlmiller (Aaron), Tennille O’Blenness (Dave), Sarah Scott (Brian); brothers Jack Davey (Darlene) and Mike Davey (Ann); sisters Kay Kukuk (Dan), Sheila Mead (Ron) and Nancy Goings; 12 grandchildren, and 1 great- grandchild.

Nephew Bob Ramelow and niece Debra Ramelow (older than Joe) were raised together and were more like brothers and sister.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3720 E. Colbert Rd., Colbert, WA on Saturday, November 1st at 1:00pm.
