Lewiston Bans Discrimination Vs Gays

The city of Lewiston joined eight other Idaho cities Monday by adopting an ordinance that bans discrimination in housing, employment and public accommodation based on sexual orientation and gender identity/expression. The ordinance also bans discrimination based on familial status. It passed along the same 5-2 lines that emerged over three readings, with Mayor Pro Tem Ryan (RJ) Johnson and Councilor Clinton Daniel voting no. The Lewiston City Council’s final vote on the matter drew a standing-room-only crowd to the Lewis-Clark State College Library. Residents of Lewiston and the surrounding area lined up for an hour and a half to offer their opinions on the controversial ordinance, with people speaking about 2-1 in favor/ Joel Mills , Lewiston Tribune. Question: Do you think the 2015 Idaho Legislature will address this issue?
