She was born on March 23, 1947 to Jack and Mary Zwischenberger.
She attended St. Patrick’s School and was a graduate of Mary Cliff High School.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of Spokane, living at the Regal Arms Apartments for over 40 years.
She was married briefly to James Noe, however, they remained lifelong friends.
Barbara and James had one child.
Barbara loved reading, history, geography, her grandkid’s activities, and art.
Over the years she worked as a baker, retail clerk, worked in a greenhouse, and as an apartment manager.
In her later years Barb volunteered for Catholic Charities at Delany Apartments, worked with Meals on Wheels, and was a nanny to her two grandchildren.
She was an avid fan of all things related to the Washington State University Cougars, especially football and basketball.
Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a great friend to so many and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter Kristin Noe - Dombrowik along with Kristin’s husband Tony; Barb’s brother Doug Zwischenberger; two sisters Janet Blessing and Linda Hill; two grandchildren Zachary and Sydney; and many beloved nieces, nephews and in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Zwischenberger, her sister Karen Goodman, and her nephew Chad Blessing.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 9am - 3pm at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division.
Rosary will be Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 7pm also at Hennessey Funeral Home.
Memorial Mass will be Monday, November 3, 2014 at 11am at St. Anthony’s Parish.
Inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
