Endorsing Fitzgerald

For nearly 32 years I had the honor and privilege of serving as the Spokane County clerk. The position of county clerk serves as the elected administrative and financial officer of the Superior Court. Based on that experience and knowledge of duties, I’m pleased to endorse the campaign of our current county clerk, Tim Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald has strong leadership and executive-level management experience, which is representing us well. He exemplifies the skills needed to assist the Superior Court and other agencies in administering justice. As a retired colonel in the United States Marine Corps, Fitzgerald commanded forces in peace time and combat. As a chief of staff, Fitzgerald directed a very large, diverse staff with multiple nationalities in Afghanistan. Fitzgerald handled legal matters, including documentation, legal administration, records, court matters, and conducted non-judicial punishment hearings as well as court-martial proceedings in the military.

Fitzgerald was appointed this past April to fill my unexpired term. He took the oath of office and immediately put his experience and proven leadership to work. Maintain this quality and vote to retain Tim Fitzgerald Spokane County clerk.
