Obituary: Ulrich, Frederick Charles “Fritz”

ULRICH, Frederick Charles “Fritz” (Age 86) Was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on April 18, 1928 and passed away at home with his family by his side on October 29, 2014.

Dad often talked about his early years staying with his grandparents on their Cougar Gulch Ranch where they homesteaded.

During his middle years, he logged all over the Northwest and made many life long friends with his logging pals.

The last 20 years he was heavily involved with the Hayden Eagles.

Not only was he an avid volunteer at the Eagles, he also took care of the grounds until recently.

Fritz is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, sons Dave (Kathy), Russell (Laura), Steve (Ella) and daughter, Kristie (Brian) Bailey.

He leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and siblings Jake, Bob and Peggy.

A memorial for Fritz will be at 1:00 pm, November 1, 2014 at the Hayden Eagles.
