Manito Tap House marks anniversary, Oktoberfest

Raise a stein: It’s Oktoberfest time.

Manito Tap House is bringing a taste of Munich to Spokane’s South Hill from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday.

The event marks the gastropub’s third anniversary as well as Oktoberfest, Bavaria’s 16-day celebration leading up to the beginning of October.

The tap house will offer three German beers and three specialty taps. Festivities take place in the parking lot and include three bands, food trucks and a charity cornhole tournament. Register teams at Manito Tap House for $10; proceeds benefit Second Harvest and Children’s Miracle Network.

Visit the pub’s Facebook page for pre-sale tickets or buy them at the door at 3011 S. Grand Blvd. Admission is $12 at the door without a stein, or $15 in advance with a commemorative stein and one free beer fill.

All ages are welcome until 7 p.m. Admission for those under 21 is $5 or two cans of food, which will benefit Second Harvest and Children’s Miracle Network.
