Obituary: Quanbeck, Grace
Age 101
Grace was born November 21, 1913 in Roundup, Montana to John and Cornelia Hoogland.
She graduated from Montana State Normal School in 1933 and taught in a one-room schoolhouse for two years.
She married Herman J. Quanbeck on June 1, 1935 in Bozeman, Montana.
They were married for 58 years until Herman’s death in 1993.
In her life, Grace enjoyed singing in the choir at Messiah Lutheran Church and playing cards and bingo.
She was an avid reader and loved Sunday drives.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Grace is survived by her four children: Brian Quanbeck (Marti), Karen Evers (King), Maridee Quanbeck (Jared Kaplan), and Patty Arthur (Craig); eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
Her family would like to thank Regency at Northpointe for their excellent care of Grace.
