Obituary: Rogers, Charles H. “Chuck”

Age 74

ROGERS, Charles H. “Chuck” Passed away peacefully into Christ’s loving arms on the morning of Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Denver, Colorado.

Chuck was born September 12, 1940 to the Spokane pioneer family of Russell R. and Mary E. Rogers.

He attended Roosevelt and Hutton grade schools and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1958.

He went on to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering from Washington State College where he was an active member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

His first career assignment was with Westinghouse Corporation in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania where he met his beloved wife Carole Ann Kosalac.

Because of his work, they traveled extensively but finally settled in Sussex, Wisconsin where Chuck purchased a small business and Carole pursued her career in teaching.

Sadly, Carole passed away in 2001.

After several years in Sussex, Chuck decided to move to be closer to his daughter Tristen who lived in Denver.

This also allowed him to pursue his passion for skiing.

His door was always open to family and friends to come down and “hit the slopes”.

Thank you dear brother for so many wonderful memories.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Mary Rogers, and his wife Carole.

He is survived by his daughter Tristen Fibiger and husband Mike; his brother Edward Rogers and wife Jacque, and their children Erinn, Blake, and Brett.

Chuck requested no services; however, if so inclined, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Denver.
