Obituary: Pavlish, Joan Kathryn “Gutti”
Age 76
She was born on November 15, 1938 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Oliver R. and Alyce Kathryn (Meyers) Olson.
Joan attended Dakota Business School where she met her husband James.
They were married in 1959 and resided in Fargo, ND.
Two years later they moved to Los Angeles, CA.
They then returned to Fargo seven years later to raise their family.
Joan mainly concentrated on raising her three children and was a stay-at-home mom unil 1970.
She was employed with Scheels Hardware for over 20 years.
Joan was a member of First Lutheran Church and also attended many PTA meetings throughout her children’s school years.
Joan loved to work with arts and crafts in her spare time.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband James; two children Randy and Keldon and his wife Marianne, all who reside in Spokane, WA; her sister Marie Richardson, Fridley, MN; three brothers Donald Olson, Foxworth, MS; Rob Olson, Fergus Falls, MN; and Jerry Olson, Goodwell, OK; and her grandchildren include Bryanna, Joshua, Austin, Alicia, and Kyara.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Alyce and her daughter Kathryn Hansen.
A time of visitation will take place on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 1pm-5pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 1 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA 99205.
