Lane defeats CC Spokane women to open tournament

Jordan Kimbrough scored 26 points, hitting 11 of 19 from the field, as the Lane Titans (8-0) defeated the CC Spokane Sasquatch 71-51 Thursday to open the Peninsula College Crossover at Port Angeles, Washington.

Kimbrough and Bre DuBois combined for 21 rebounds to guide Lane’s 59-42 advantage. Khadija Neumeyer scored 18 points for CCS (7-3), hitting 2 for 5 on 3-pointers while the other Sasquatch were a combined 1 for 22.

CCS will meet Shoreline (2-6) at 1 p.m. Friday in a loser-out game.
