DAVIS, Calif. – Perrion Callandret scored 18 points and Idaho jumped out early and cruised to a 68-51 victory over UC Davis on Tuesday night.
Callandret was 6 of 15 from the floor with three 3-pointers and four assists. Arkadiy Mkrtychyan and Victor Sanders added 12 points apiece for Idaho (8-5), which has won three straight.
Darius Graham scored 13 points to lead UC Davis (4-6).
The Vandals had a 10-point lead midway through the first half and closed on a 20-12 surge to take a 38-20 halftime lead. Callandret scored 14 points and had two steals with a rebound in the first half.
Callandret’s layup pushed the Vandals’ lead to 20 points midway through the second half.
UC Davis shot 35 percent from the field and 59 percent on 19-of-32 shooting from the line. The Aggies scored a season-low 51 points in their fourth straight loss.
