Prep wrestling: North Central eases past Gonzaga Prep

North Central won 12 of 14 matches and routed Gonzaga Prep 65-12 in a Greater Spokane League dual Tuesday at North Central.

The Indians won five matches by way of pin.

The match of the night came at 106 pounds, where NC’s Zack Cramer earned a 4-2 win over G-Prep’s P.J. Vigil.

• Clarkston used four consecutive pins late in the contest to get past Cheney 51-27 in a Great Northern League dual in Cheney. The closest match came at 160 pounds, where the Bantams’ Billy Bakke claimed an 11-9 win over Cheney’s Issac Draper. Clarkston won six matches by way of pin.

• Lakeland and Priest River claimed wins over Bonners Ferry in a nonleague meet in Rathdrum. The Hawks won the first 10 matches en route to a 60-21 victory. The Spartans won seven matches by pin and defeated the Badgers 58-28.
