Obituary: Holmes, Warren Wesley
Age 62
Born in Walla Walla, WA on October 26th, 1952, Warren moved to Spokane as a child.
He was a resident at Lakeland Village until he turned 18.
Warren was a HUGE music lover, especially the oldies era.
As a young man, he would ride his bike (no matter the distance) to the local radio stations in Spokane where he would share selections from his extensive collection of 45s.
He went on to compile an enormous number of records; this was his passion and life’s work.
You would not want to challenge Warren to a game of “Name That Tune” he was a music champ and you would surely lose.
Warren spent 12 years working at Arby’s in the Spokane Valley where he made many friends.
A longtime resident at L.I.F.E.
Inc., Warren found a second family in the residents and staff.
His family is ever grateful for the exceptional care he received there.
Warren was well loved by all who were privileged to know him.
With a huge smile and infectious laughter, he would light up a room.
Warren is now in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father in the company of his beloved mother Isabel Holmes and sisters: Sharon, Elsie, Ruth and Karen.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 31st at 1:00pm in the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park.
