Big Sky basketball: Sacramento State wins fifth straight

Mikh McKinney had 23 points and eight assists, and Dylan Garrity scored 18 on Thursday night to help Sacramento State pull away from Montana State for a 75-59 win in Sacramento, California.

Nick Hornsby added 12 points and seven rebounds for Sacramento State, which has won five in a row and 9 of 10.

Marcus Colbert led Montana State with 13 points.

Montana 73, Portland State 54: Martin Breunig scored 23 points, Jordan Gregory added 15, and the Grizzlies rolled over the Vikings, in Portland, with a big second half.

Gregory scored his 1,000th career point in the contest, making him the 29th player to score 1,000 or more at Montana.

DaShaun Wiggins led Portland State with 17 points.

Northern Colorado 79, Idaho State 76: Cameron Michael scored 24 points, including a career-high 6 of 8 3-pointers, Jordan Wilson scored 17 with six assists, and the Bears rallied to beat the Bengals in Greeley, Colorado.

Chris Hansen led Idaho State with 22.

Weber State 67, North Dakota 60: Jeremy Senglin scored 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting and added five rebounds to lead the Wildcats to victory over North Dakota, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Richaud Gittens finished with 14 points, and Joel Bolomboy added 10 points and nine boards for Weber State.

Estan Tyler’s 12 points led North Dakota. Carson Shanks added 11 points and eight boards.
