Obituary: Aull, Joseph Francis

AULL, Joseph Francis, Jr.

In Loving Memory Joseph “Joe” Francis Aull Jr. of Kettle Falls, Washington, passed away on July 6th, 2015 at his home.

Joe was born on March 21st, 1959 in Seattle Washington, the son of Joseph and Virginia (Bullis) Aull.

At a young age Joe moved with his family to Marcellus, NY where he grew up and learned to hunt and fish from his father.

There he attended school and graduated from Marcellus High School.

Joe joined the United States Air Force in 1979, where he proudly served alongside his brothers in AFSOC and often commented, “I had so much fun.

I would have done it for free if I didn’t need the money.”

He made his career serving his country for 22 years and retired as a Master Sergeant in 2001.

Joe married Lori Brooks March 22nd, 2003 in Chattaroy, WA and they moved to their property in Kettle Falls later that year.

Joe loved spending time in the outdoors.

He spent many hours hunting, fishing, camping, mountain climbing or any other activity that took him in nature.

He was very intelligent and was able to accomplish anything he set his mind to.

He loved all of his family deeply and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Virginia Hoston.

Joe is survived by his wife, Lori Aull of Kettle Falls, WA; children, Joseph Aull III of Pensacola, FL; Nick Aull of Kettle Falls, WA, and Samantha Calabrese of Portland, OR; brothers-in-law, Derrick Brooks and wife, Chris of Spokane, WA, David Brooks of Spokane, WA, Kevin Brooks and wife, Emily of Vancouver WA, Robert Brooks and wife, Heather of Vancouver, WA; sisters, Barbara Donabella of Brighton, CO, Geri Maggiore and husband, Robert of Syracuse, NY, Brenda Klaben and husband, Edward of Elbridge, NY, Becky Sawyer of Kettle Falls, WA,; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration for Mr. Aull will be held at 1:30 pm, July 20th, 2015 at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA.
