Obituary: Smith, Arthur E. “Bud” And Geraldine “Gerry”

SMITH, Arthur E. “Bud” and Geraldine “Gerry” The time has come for us to say “Goodbye” to Mom and Dad.

They have left a space in our lives that will never be filled.

But what a great life they shared with us.

Dad was born in Britton, South Dakota to Art and Helen Smith.

Mom was born in Dalton Gardens, Idaho to Ralph and Stella Spracklen.

According to Dad, one look at Mom as she was walking by his car on 4th Street in Coeur d’Alene and it was love.

They shared 64 years together, raising us five kids in Spokane Valley.

Through good times and rough times, their commitment to each other stayed strong.

We only hope to honor their lives as privately and respectfully as possible.

That is what they would expect of us.
