Obituary: Taylor, Carole Margaret

TAYLOR, Carole M. Carole Margaret Taylor has passed on to the next life.

Carole was born July 22, 1945 and died July 13, 2015.

Carole made friends easily with staff and patients at the Franklin Hills Care Center where she lived the last five years and at the Carlyle Care Center many years prior. “

She was just a joy!”

“She was always so polite!”

many staff stated many times.

Her favorite activities were listening to Johnny Cash CD’s and playing bingo; she loved to have visitors and would often ask, “A penny for your thoughts?”

Survived by her son, Michael William Taylor Flannigan; daughter-in-law, Lynn Eberle Flannigan; grandson Liam Michael Flannigan of Newberg OR; sisters Mary Valdez and husband Greg, Tigard OR and Kathleen Eagleton, Taos NM; brothers Patrick Flannigan and wife Marisue, Lincoln CA; Brian Flannigan and his wife Margie, Keizer OR and several nieces and nephews including her best friend Richard D. Schmidt of Spokane.

Preceded in death by her former husband, William Taylor, her mother, Celeste Heaverlo Flannigan and father, John Earl Flannigan; sister, Nancy Schmidt; brothers, Michael Errol and Terrance Flannigan.

Gravside service will be held August 1, 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Carole was the kindest, gentlest soul you could ever know; ask anyone who knew her.
