Obituary: Keeler, Lisa Marie

Age 50

KEELER, Lisa Marie Of Spokane, WA, passed away suddenly at home from cancer on July 27, 2015, at the age of 50.

Lisa was born on January 1, 1965 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roger Brent Keeler (deceased) and Jean (John) Willard.

Lisa loved her animals (her babies), gardens, earth, animals, fishing, landscaping, arts, crafts, music and movies.

While living in Utah she had a horse that she loved and was great at gymnastics.

Lisa moved with her family from Utah to Queens, New York, while in high school she fought for placement as the first female to take an all-male small machines class.

She worked at a skating rink helping skaters that had fallen down.

Then the family moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho where she graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School.

After graduation she moved to Spokane, WA where she worked in a florist shop, yard care company and created a successful landscaping business that stretched throughout Washington.

Lisa is survived by fiancĂŠ, partner and best friend Mike Pereira; stepdaughter, Taiyanna Pereira of Spokane, WA.

Parents, Jean and John Willard, Post Falls, ID; sister, Christine Keeler; brother, Robert (Misty) Keeler; nephew, Ben Keeler, all from CDA, ID; Sue Pereira, CA, John Pereira, WA.

Lisa was dearly loved and will be missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Heritage, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224, from 2-5 pm.

On Saturday, August 1, 2015, there will be a Celebration of Lisa’s Life at 13810 NE Newman Lake Road, Spokane from 1-5 pm.
