“Antiques Roadshow” Spokane Meet the Appraisers Reception Meet and mingle with “Antiques Roadshow” appraisers. Hear from Marsha Bemko, executive producer of the show. Bay Trail Fun Run Celebrate National Trails Day and help protect a popular waterfront trail with either a 5K or 10K run or walk. Awards for top finishers in each age group and T-shirts and giveaways for all. Proceeds will support efforts to extend and protect a public shoreline trail on Lake Pend Oreille. Experiencing Local History: Spokane’s Historic Ghost Signs Walking Tour In this entertaining opportunity, participants will learn about several painted advertising signs that survive on brick buildings throughout Spokane’s historic core. Usually referred to as “ghost signs,” these faded but often colorful displays offer testimony of a vanished world. This class begins with two hours of instruction and conversation on the signs’ historical significance. Following a one-hour lunch break, participants will enjoy a 90-minute walking tour of downtown Spokane’s ghost signs, led by the instructors. 9 a.m. Saturday, Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, 2316 W. Exploring Inland Northwest Outdoors at Argonne Library Through words and pictures, Craig Goodwin shares his journey and the lessons he’s learned from photographing the unique beauty of our region. Pub Scoot A Poker Run pub crawl through Historic Hillyard by golf cart. Volunteer drivers will “scoot” you through the streets of the area’s only legal golf cart zone. Your wristband and T-shirt is your ticket to specials, games and prizes at every stop.
