Simone Biles is coming home. The two-time world champion gymnast headlines the field for today’s American Cup (NBC, 10 a.m.). The invitation-only event will be held at massive AT&T Stadium outside Dallas. Biles says she expects 200 friends and family to make the four-hour trip to Houston to see her compete. Those people have usually had to watch Biles on TV or the Internet during her two-year run of dominance. Defending champion Sam Mikulak leads the men’s field, which includes rising U.S. star Donnell Whittenburg. The event is the first marquee meet of 2015 and the start of the run-up to the 2016 Summer Olympics. –AP
