The Gonzaga Bulldogs (4-1) scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning and seven runs in the ninth to pull away for a 15-5 nonconference win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Whitworth senior pole vaulter Joe Green was named the NCAA Division III West Region Indoor Track and Field men’s field athlete of the year.

• Whitworth junior Katie McKay set a school record in the women’s 400-meter dash with a time of 58.76 seconds in a dual meet with Lewis-Clark State on Tuesday. She broke the mark (58.98) Elizabeth Mattila set in 2008.
