Students from area earn university academic honors
Students from the Inland Northwest have earned academic honors nationwide for the autumn 2014 semester. Grade-point averages are calculated on a 4.0 scale, unless otherwise noted.
• Sarah Andrews, of Colbert, and Stephen Sanchez, of Spokane, have been named to the dean’s list at Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, in Omaha, Nebraska, after earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or more for the semester.
• Colbert resident Corinna Rankin earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or more for the semester and was named to the dean’s list at the University of Memphis in Tennessee.
• Michael Rojeski, of Spokane, has been named to the honors list at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus, in Teaneck, N.J., after earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or better.
• West Kentucky Community and Technical College, in Paducah, Kentucky, named Pullman resident Jonathon Wells to the dean’s list for earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or more during the semester.
• Spokane residents Ryan Linehan and Emily Sonneland have been named to the dean’s list at Boston University, in Massachusetts, for earning a grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the semester.
• The University of Montana, in Missoula, has named Shanna Thompson and Wendy Gregory, of Spokane Valley, and Kaley Lenhart, of Spokane, to the semester dean’s list. Students must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or more to be named to the list.
• Chelsea Correll, of Spokane, and Sydney Everhart, of Spokane Valley, earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or more and have been named to the dean’s list at Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts.
• Deer Park resident Alison Ruygrok earned a 3.5 grade-point average or more to be named to the dean’s list at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California.
• Jasmyn Roecks, of Greenacres, earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or more for the semester and was named to the dean’s list at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.
• Spokane residents Scott Coffey and Eric Ansett have been named to the provost’s list at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Students must hold a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.99 to be named to the list.
