Obituary: Siron, Glenn Arthur, Jr.

SIRON, Glenn Arthur, Jr. Glenn Arthur Siron Jr. left this world to join the angels on April 27, 2015 at the age of 50.

Glenn was born on September 24, 1964 to Glenn Arthur and Barbara (Hanna) Siron in Durham, North Carolina.

Prior to settling in Portland, Oregon when he was 13, Glenn and his family spent time living in North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, and Texas.

Throughout his adult life he had various careers, however, he enjoyed his time in radio broadcast the most.

In 2010, Glenn and his wife Patti decided to pull up stakes and hit the road in their RV looking for a place to settle down south.

He loved driving the motorhome across the nation, meeting new friends, and spending extra time with his family.

Glenn was passionate about music and travel, but he was most passionate about his family.

He is survived by his wife Patti, his former wife Nikki, and his four children: Jennifer (Steven) Newberry, Zach (Tara) Siron, Nate (Megan) Becker, and Eli (Taylor) Siron.

He was a proud PaPa of four grandchildren: Dustin, Kalen, Nolan, and Peyton.

He is also survived by three sisters: Linda Heard, Paula Trueax, and Kathy Siron, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew CW2 Joshua Tillery (Iraq).

There will be a celebration of life in Glenn’s honor on Saturday May 2, 2015 at 1:00 in the afternoon, at Sarg Hubbard Park in Yakima, Washington.

All are welcome to attend this celebration and speak on behalf of their love and friendship with Glenn.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the organization of your choice.
