Idaho baseball: Lewiston lands in title game

Kade Woods pitched a complete-game three-hitter and Lewiston advanced to the Idaho baseball 5A state title game with a 4-2 win over Hillcrest at Boise Hawks Memorial Stadium in Boise.

Luke White, Josh Moore and Dalton Stamper each had a double and an RBI for the Bengals, who will play Timberline today for the championship.

• Lake City’s loser-out game against Highland was postponed due to poor weather and will be played today.

4A: Blackfoot beat Moscow 21-6 in the semifinals at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise. The Bears will play today in the third-place game.

3A: Timberlake’s semifinal-game against Fruitland and Bonners Ferry’s loser-out game against Emmett were both postponed due to poor weather and will be played today.

2A: St. Maries fell 6-4 to Nampa Christian in Nampa, Idaho, and will play for third place.
