Poll: Plurality handed out candy

• Halloween Weekend Poll: A plurality of 37.85% simply handed out candy to trick-or-treaters in observance of Halloween Saturday night. 176 of 465 respondents (37.85%) said they handed out candy. 112 (24.09%) ignored Halloween altogether. 54 (11.61%) took their children out trick-or-treating. 50 (10.75%) decorated their yards. 40 (8.6%) dressed up. And 33 (7.1%) voted: “Halloween? Bah, humbug!”
