2 nabbed returning to burglary scene
From Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office:
On (Tuesday) a Post Falls couple was checking on the vacant residence of a deceased family member in the 18000 block of W. Riverview
Drive, when they found that the residence and an outbuilding had been burglarized. The couple went back to the residence later to set up lights and secure the premises to make it look like it was occupied. While there, they observed a suspicious SUV driving slowly by the house, then turn around and drive back by, this time pulling into the driveway. The Post Falls residents turned on their headlights, revealing themselves to the suspected burglars. The SUV left the driveway and drove eastbound on Riverview Drive toward Spokane Street.
Responding deputies found the SUV and stopped it at Spokane Street and 1st Avenue in Post Falls. The driver of the SUV was identified as Andrea E. Evitts, 39, and the passenger as John D. Clark, 41, both of Post Falls.
