Hump Day Wild Card — 11.4.15

Izzit just me — or does the air smell better and the water seem cleaner in the Shire today? The voters or Coeur d’Alene turned out last night to push back the lengthening shadow of Mordor that had crept into our School Board before being repelled. And now has been largely repelled from City Hall. The attempt by Sauron’s minions to put their stamp on our beautiful town has been rejected. Sauron wins only if he can depress election turnout (see: Kootenai County GOP primary) Now, we need to figure out how to get decent legislative representation in the Shire despite that closed primary.
