Obituary: Whitney, Courtney Gene, Jr.

WHITNEY, Courtney Gene, Jr. 9-20-1953 - 11-2-2015 The first son born to Courtney Gene Whitney Sr. and Dolores Brown Whitney.

He was joined by brothers Randy (Sue), Walt, and Jim (Danielle).

Wife: Donna Children: Mattie (David), Courtney Gene III, Tyler, Nicole, Cody and Natalie.

Grandchildren: Ashley, Saige, Delilah, Kyler, Jorjia and Camden.

Several nieces and nephews.

Courtney graduated from West Valley High School in 1971.

He served as a medical specialist in the Army but loved computer programming and became a software engineer.

Preceded in death by Father, Courtney Gene Sr.

Son, Courtney Gene III, Grandpa and Grandma Whitney, Grandpa and Grandma Brown.

Celebration of Courtney’s life will be Saturday November 7th at 3:00 at Greenacres Baptist Church, 18620 E. Sprague Ave., Spokane Valley.

Courtney will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
