Lincoln County Jail escapee arrested

A man who escaped from the Lincoln County Jail in Davenport on Oct. 30 has been captured, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Facebook page reported Monday.

Ronald Rutledge, 34, was arrested in September on charges of burglary and vehicle theft. He escaped when a jail employee took out the garbage. He allegedly took an employee’s car keys and left the area in that car.

The noticed on the Facebook page did not provide details of the arrest.
